SALARY: $15-17/hr.
Excellent opportunity in Tarpon Springs - entry level saw operator working with sheet metal:
- Set up metal sawing jobs.
- Edit and prove out programs.
- Produce parts to print specifications.
- Inspect parts using protractors, squares, tape measure, caliper, height gauges, etc.
- Participate in continuous improvement culture, including lean initiatives.
- Keep the department organized and clean for a safe working environment.
- Other duties as required.
- Basic experience working with various metals (steel, stainless, aluminum, etc.).
- Shop math knowledge.
- Read and understand blueprints.
- Able to read a tape measure and use other measuring devices.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Forklift experience.
- Must have good attendance and be on time.
- Embrace and demonstrate company values.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
